Lucid Air Performance Overview
Lucid’s Air has defined its performance profile entirely within the EV era, spanning 2022 to 2025 and documented across 18 verified tests (17 production, 1 modified). From launch, its range has stretched from 430 to 1,234 hp, with every recorded variant using an electric powertrain. Early results established the car’s upper limit quickly: the 2022 Dream Edition Performance on 21-inch wheels reached 60 mph in 2.6 seconds, setting the initial benchmark for the model line.
Through the middle of its run, performance broadened rather than simply escalating. Touring and Grand Touring trims filled out the lineup while the quickest versions kept moving downward, culminating in the 2024 Sapphire at 2.1 seconds to 60 mph. At the same time, the Air’s spread became clearer at the lower-output end, with the 2025 Pure on 20-inch wheels posting 4.5 seconds to 60 mph.
As it stands today, the Air’s peak is the 2025 Sapphire’s 1.9-second 0-60, backed by a 9.0-second quarter-mile at 154.8 mph. That gives the current Air range one of the widest internal performance windows in the segment, from efficient single-motor-style entry tuning to the 1,234-hp tri-motor Sapphire at the top.

How we verify Lucid Air performance data
We include only independently published road-test results from automotive publications. Manufacturer-claimed 0–60 times are excluded unless clearly labeled. When multiple publications test the same Lucid Air trim, each run is listed separately — weather, tires, surface, rollout, and instrumentation all affect results.
