About BMW 335i

If there is a sports sedan that you have been looking for since ages, which will give you remarkable performance with striking looks, the BMW 335i is probably closest to it.

The 3 series of BMW cars is meant to be in the range of sport cars, and amongst all the other cars of the 3 series, the 335i with its lavish looks, and luxury focused interior is a perfect style and status symbol for the owner.

In addition, the BMW 335i is simply one of the best performing vehicles in its class. As one of the first of its generation to adopt a turbo engine, the 335i has managed to out-muscle its competitors with relative ease.

In order to continue to lead the class, BMW has had to re-design the 335 several times and the newest iteration is simply stunning. Although performance remains mainly unchanged.

Interior and Exterior

BMW 335i 0-60While the exterior looks lavish with a fascinating design and the front and rear of the car match so well, it still has some scope for perfection. The car is decorated with leather and aluminum fully inside, and this gives it the proper luxury car look. The steering feels better at grip, and the seats are perfectly placed.

The newest facelift also offers a more aggressive and angled front stance that finally matches the car’s performance.

The 335i is pretty fast with its high engine output of 300 hp @ 5800 rpm and 300 ft-lbs. @ 1300 rpm. BMW 335i 0-60 time is achieved in less than 5 seconds, which is pretty admirable for a sports sedan. The maximum torque of the car has given it this great speed and it roars while on the road. Acceleration is super smooth, and you won’t feel a thing while speeding up except the overly pumping heart in your chest.

The brakes work smooth and fast and are ready to stop your speed at any second. However, one funny thing is that you may hear a squishy spongy sound while pushing the brake pedals, but you won’t mind that.

The ride you get with the 355i is pretty smooth for a sports sedan.

It achieves a respectable mileage of 23 mpg in city and 33 in highway, which when combined to declare an average of 26 mpg. With the damping control button you can loosen or stiffen the steering, and whatever be the settings, you will feel sticking to the road confidently with the 19 inch wheels.

If you opt to go for the eight speed automatic gearbox, you will be delighted by its response and efficiency. While the paddles act real fast, the shifts and downshifts are blazing fast. While the car is made for fuel economy and therefore has these eight auto speeds to handle that, still it sometimes feels like the auto mode is fumbling for the gear to choose from as you rapidly shift your speed up and down.

You Should Go for the 335i

It’s a safe car, designed for luxury, fuel economy, speeding and yet prestigious handling that any BMW is known for. It comes with an optional Harman Kardon sound system, which works just average and satisfactorily. Besides it’s packed with additional features such as satellite radio, LCD display, a navigation system, and you can see adjustments in settings on the display. You can also check basic information about the vehicle such as the oil level here.

Altogether it’s a nice car at an affordable starting price of about $42,000. Though there are exciting cars within this price range, yet the status, style and prestige that a BMW imparts is unmatched by anything else.
