Early V10 and V20 cars used naturally aspirated four-cylinders, starting with the 92-hp 2S-ELC; the 1983 LE needed 11.8 seconds to reach 60 mph, while the slowest recorded run in the archive, a 1983 LE, took 12.69 seconds. By the XV10 generation, the 1MZ-FE V6 brought a clear step forward, with the 1995 LE V6 posting an 8.0-second 0-60 time.
