Chrysler 300 Performance Overview
Chrysler’s rear-drive 300 sedan ran from 2005 to 2023, and across 33 independently verified tests it shows a broad gasoline-only performance range, from Pentastar V6 models to Hemi V8 SRT variants. The LX generation (2005–2010) opened with naturally aspirated V6 and V8 power rated from 250 to 425 hp, plus a supercharged outlier in testing. Early results stretched from the 2005 Touring V6 at 8.0 seconds to 60 mph to the 2005 GS Motorsports SRT8 at 4.3 seconds, establishing the model’s quickest recorded launch from the start.
The LD generation (2011–2023) refined that formula with 292–485 hp gasoline engines, centered on the Pentastar V6 and larger naturally aspirated Hemi V8s. In this era, a 2012 300 S V8 reached 60 mph in 5.0 seconds, while the 2013 SRT8 matched the model-best 4.3-second 0-60 run and posted the quickest quarter-mile at 12.7 seconds at 112 mph. More mainstream LD trims remained in the mid-5-second range, including the 2018 300S V6 at 6.3 seconds and the 2023 300C at 4.6 seconds. By the end of production, the 300 stood as a full-size gasoline sedan with an overall 0-60 average of 5.66 seconds and a quarter-mile average of 14.1 seconds at 101.6 mph.

How we verify Chrysler 300 performance data
We include only independently published road-test results from automotive publications. Manufacturer-claimed 0–60 times are excluded unless clearly labeled. When multiple publications test the same Chrysler 300 trim, each run is listed separately — weather, tires, surface, rollout, and instrumentation all affect results.
