Acura Integra Performance Overview
Acura’s Integra performance record spans 1986 to 2026, covering 40 independently verified tests across 15 model years. Early cars established the baseline with the 1986 LS Coupe at 8.8 seconds to 60 mph, while the slowest recorded example, another 1986 LS Coupe, reached 60 in 9.8 seconds. Output grew from the original naturally aspirated 1.6-liter era into the DA-generation 1990–1993 cars, where the B17A1- and B18A1-powered lineup ranged from 130 to 160 hp and the 1992 GS-R Coupe cut the benchmark to 6.8 seconds.
The DC generation, sold from 1994 to 2001, marked the model’s most concentrated period of testing and its biggest gains among naturally aspirated gasoline trims. A 1994 GS-R Sedan ran 0-60 in 6.4 seconds, the 1997 Type R Coupe lowered that to 6.2, and the 1998 Jackson Racing GS-R Coupe reached 5.7 seconds, showing the range covered by B-series development from 140 to 240 hp. Quarter-mile pace also tightened through this period before the nameplate left production.
With the DE5 Integra, back from 2023 onward, performance moved to turbocharged gasoline power with the 200-hp L15CA and 320-hp K20C8. The 2024 Type S Sedan Liftback posted the quickest quarter-mile at 13.6 seconds at 107 mph, and the 2025 Type S reached the model’s all-time best 5.1-second 0-60 time. Today, the Integra sits at its quickest recorded point.

How we verify Acura Integra performance data
Records and averages on this page cover verified production runs only; modified and prototype results are listed by year but never folded into them. We include only independently published road-test results from automotive publications. Manufacturer-claimed 0–60 times are excluded unless clearly labeled. When multiple publications test the same Acura Integra trim, each run is listed separately — weather, tires, surface, rollout, and instrumentation all affect results.
