About Lamborghini Aventador
Lamborghini is known to have quite a number of supercars in its stable. The Lamborghini Aventador is one of those beastly supercars that makes your jaw drop the moment you set your eyes on it.
It is a flagship model of Lamborghini and is distinguishable by its massive, long and low exterior design. The Aventador is the ultimate sign of flamboyance – you cannot possibly miss this car or the loud statement it makes.
It is without any doubt highly powerful, storing the massive 6.5 liter V12 engine under its hood (or should we say under its rear trunk). And yet, you will not have trouble driving this car – unlike many other Lamboghini car models. It has amazing agility and allows for precise drive control that is hard to believe.
This two-seater supercar car was first introduced to the world in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. The creation of Lamborghini Aventador was an attempt to replace the old model Murcielago, and become the best flagship model for the company. The name of the car is given after the name of a bull – a typical Lamborghini custom.
A Performance Beast
The Lamborghini cars have always been known for their exquisite performance. Lamborghini Aventador is no different. This car has a 6.5 liter V12 engine. This itself is a sign of its beastly power.
It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.7 seconds and quarter mile at 10.4 seconds at 136 mph. Not only that, but the Aventador also sports a top speed of around 217 mph.
Although fuel economy is largely irrelevant in the world of supers, the Aventador gets around 11 mpg in city driving and 18 mpg on the highways.
The car comes with scissor doors, as per the usual Lamborghini standards. Once you get inside the car, the interior is bound to leave you awestruck. It is a highly refined and technologically enhanced interior.
Despite the fact that the transmission is only a single-clutch semi-automatic, it makes gear shifts quite swiftly so there isn’t any noticeable diminished performance.
An Intimidating Package
As stated earlier, the size, shape and look of the Lamborghini Aventador is the factor that both intimidates you and leaves you awestruck. It is a heavy car and that may lead to the assumption that handling it in the corners will be tricky. It is not so.
Even though the car is massive, it is still agile when it comes to maneuvering it on the streets. Aventador is regarded as one of the most drivable cars created by Lamborghini.
The Aventador produces a booming sound, which accompanies the acceleration, that makes this thing appear more like something out of an alien movie.
Next Generation Supercar
Lamborghini Aventador is an extremely powerful car, and meant for someone skilled enough to maneuver it around.
And true to Lamborghini, this car does not come cheap either. It is the flagship model of the company, and has sold thousands since its introduction. If you want one, you can get it for around $400,000. For the ones who can get it, it will indeed be the most classy and intimidating style statement that you could ask for.
