Cadillac ATS Performance Overview
Cadillac’s ATS occupied the compact rear-drive sport-sedan and coupe space from 2013 to 2018, and across 21 verified tests it shows a tightly grouped performance profile built entirely around gasoline powertrains. The single 1st Gen range ran from the 202-hp LCV 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder to the 335-hp LFX/LGX 3.6-liter V6, with the turbocharged LTG 2.0-liter four-cylinder filling the middle. Early results established the car’s ceiling quickly: the 2013 Premium 3.6 Sedan reached 60 mph in 5.4 seconds, while the entry 2013 Standard 2.5 Sedan set the slow end of the range at 7.4 seconds.
As testing continued, the ATS settled into a narrow band where trim and engine choice mattered more than year-to-year change. Turbo 2.0T versions consistently clustered at the quick end, including the 2016 Premium 2.0T Sedan’s 5.4-second 0-60 and the 2018 2.0T Coupe’s 14.0-second quarter-mile at 98.6 mph, the quickest quarter-mile recorded for the model. V6 cars remained close, with the 2013 Premium 3.6 Sedan matching the best 0-60 figure, while the average ATS test landed at 5.79 seconds to 60 mph and 14.27 seconds in the quarter-mile. Today, that leaves the ATS as a six-model-year line with a 5.4-second best and a consistent 202–335 hp gasoline-only performance envelope.

How we verify Cadillac ATS performance data
We include only independently published road-test results from automotive publications. Manufacturer-claimed 0–60 times are excluded unless clearly labeled. When multiple publications test the same Cadillac ATS trim, each run is listed separately — weather, tires, surface, rollout, and instrumentation all affect results.
