Ford Fusion Performance Overview

The first generation (2006–2012) opened with naturally aspirated Duratec four- and six-cylinder engines, plus a hybrid late in the cycle, ranging from 160 to 263 hp. Early benchmarks included the 2006 SEL V6 at 7.2 seconds to 60 mph, while the 2007 Steeda V6 cut that to 6.7 seconds; among regular production trims, the 2010 Sport V6 also reached 6.7 seconds.
