Before, SUVs came along, when you say the luxury vehicle, the long sedans like the Rolls Royces, Bentleys, and Maybachs are what you would normally first think about. But things have changed since roughly the beginning of the second decade of the 21st century. People have been having a little bit of a shift in the concept of luxury. Before, luxury meant tons of legroom, a lot of gizmos in the car to play with, a plush interior, a perfect ride, and maximum quietness. While all these are still true, there are new requirements to fulfill the luxury needs of a modern car buyer such as more space, off-road capabilities, and ground clearance, and there’s only one type of car that can satisfy all those requirements, it’s the sport utility vehicle. In the price of luxury, the sky is the absolute limit, so we have listed the top 10 most expensive SUVs you can buy today.

1.) Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Of course, the daddy of the luxury car should take the first place, Rolls-Royce must have seen the car buyers’ shift in getting more interested in the SUV, so obviously, they immediately jumped on it. The Cullinan, just like any other Rolls-Royce offers their usual take on a luxury like a refrigerator, a drinks cabinet, Rolls-Royce branded glasses, lambswool floor mats and many more. Just like any other Rolls-Royce, you can spec your Cullinan to suit your sophisticated taste. The Cullinan starts at $332,350, and it’s powered by a 12-cylinder engine that produces 563 hp and 627 pound-feet of torque.

2.) Bentley Bentayga Speed

With prices that start at $242,125, the second entry from The UK again is, of course, the Bentley Bentayga Speed. 3.) Range Rover SVAutobiography LWB

The UK still takes the third spot with the range-topping Range Rover (no pun intended. 5.) Lamborghini Urus

If you want a less laid-back luxury SUV the Urus is the way to go, it’s an entirely different animal compared to the first four luxury SUVs we’ve reviewed because it owes respect to its Lamborghini roots so this luxury SUV is fitted with a 4,000cc twin-turbo V8 that produces 641 hp and 627 pound-feet of torque.

6.) Aston Martin DBX

It’s an entry that should have come in the same time with its fellow Brits, but it’s better late than never, this luxury SUV has a 4,000cc twin-turbo V8 that develops 542 hp and 516 pound-feet of torque, it starts at $192,986 and it has a handcrafted interior that went up to 200 hours of meticulous attention to detail.

9.) Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid

This list gets two Porsche entries, and they’re both Cayennes as well. Imagine that the entry-level Cayenne starts at $70,000, and consider that this variant starts at $163,250, and come to think about the level of luxury the standard Cayenne already has, this would be a very luxurious and very fast SUV.

10.) Mercedes-AMG G63

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is known for its unparalleled or-roading capabilities, this is perhaps the boxiest, rugged and meanest looking luxury SUV to have made our list. This AMG has a nuke under the bonnet that produces 577 hp and 627 pound-feet of torque from its new 4,000cc twin-turbo V8. This G-Class has more creature comforts than the standard one, and for that reason, it starts at $157,445.
